I hate when people shame you for asking for help.
We all have this idea that if you ask for help you’re dumb or stupid.
But that’s simply not true.
I’m in my 2nd year of optometry school, I failed my first exam...ever.
If I failed the class, there goes my white coat.
I’ll be held back or worse - never get the chance to see patients.
Bad days happen.
But it’s up to me to decide whether or not I want to just get my mind off of it
or do something to get over it.
